‘Rogues Gallery’ – China, Russia, Iran Joining in Military Exercises

A new rogues gallery of anti-American and authoritarian regimes will be participating in joint military training exercises in southern Russia this month. The exercises dubbed “Caucasus 2020” will run September 21-26.

It shows the increasing defense cooperation among America’s major enemies and potential adversaries.

In addition to Chinese, Russian and Iranian forces, troops from Armenia, Belarus, Myanmar, Pakistan, and others are expected to join. CBS News reported that the Caucasus 2020 “drills will deploy wheeled vehicles and light weaponry to be flown to the drill location by China‘s latest version transport aircraft,” according to the Chinese defense ministry.

The exercises will focus on defensive tactics, encirclement, and battlefield control and command, the defense ministry added.

According to CBS News, citing a tweet from India’s Ministry of Defense, India had also planned to take part in these military exercises but canceled its participation amid the increasingly tense border conflict between Beijing and Delhi in the Himalayas. The decision was attributed to logistical “difficulties” related to the coronavirus pandemic, but it is clear this was not the true motivation.

China and Russia are increasingly cooperating militarily and diplomatically, largely to counter U.S. global influence. They established a “comprehensive strategic partnership” two decades ago but appear to be ramping up ties now, worrying some U.S. defense planners of a deepening military alliance.

“The exercises have special meaning for China-Russia ties,” reported CBS News, citing the Chinese defense ministry.

The addition now of Revolutionary Iran to this new anti-American military axis only increases the complexity and seriousness of the threat to the U.S. and its allies posed by this new ‘rogues’ gallery of anti-U.S. villains.

No surprise here. While others disregard that it could happen. I have seen it coming for awhile. I also see the glorious coming of the LORD as well.

It Trump froze China’s debt and stopped all imports because of any threat, China would be broke in a week.

Did you notice that Pakistan is on the list? If we are out of Afghanistan why do we even need Pakistan? India would be a better choice of allies.

Perhaps I have my Nations mixed up, but does not Pakistan have nuclear weapons; could be that is why we are in Afghanistan but then does Afghanistan have nuclear weapons? or because it borders Pakistan is why we are there? Why we are in that part of the Woods I really do not understand but we are. I thought India was an ally.
