ANALYSIS – As I have repeatedly written about, President Joe Biden, within months of his election, has created a massive immigration and border crisis, with over 100,000 illegal migrants captured at the border in February alone. This is the highest number in 15 years.
With over 13,000 unaccompanied minor children currently in custody in reportedly deteriorating conditions, the Biden administration is reportedly resorting to spend $86 million in taxpayer funds to purchase hotel rooms to house illegal migrants, reports Axios.
First Biden denied there was a border crisis, but now he is gaslighting the Trump team for his own self-created disaster; embarrassingly saying ‘It’s all Trump’s fault.”
The earlier border crisis President Trump inherited from Obama-Biden in 2016, was steadily resolved thanks to Trump’s border barriers, and strict and sound immigration policies. Last April, Pew data shows, only 16,000 were detained crossing the border.
Yet, before he was even inaugurated, Biden began promising a qualified amnesty plan to upwards of 15 million illegal aliens residing in the United States. Then, immediately after entering the White House, Biden dumped Trump’s Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), which kept foreigners who tried to enter the U.S. illegally in camps in Mexico while they awaited hearings.
Instead, Biden returned to a “catch-and-release” policy allowing illegal aliens into the U.S. while awaiting hearings. It is not coincidence that migrant surges began almost immediately, with swarms of migrants wearing Biden t-shirts saying ‘Biden-let us in.’
Even the left-wing Mexican government, and President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO), blames Biden’s rhetoric and policies for the illegal migrant surge, with AMLO saying the illegal migrants see Biden as “the migrant president” and blaming Biden for aiding drug cartels and organized crime.
Earlier I even Biden’s DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, admitted in a statement that the U.S. government is “on pace to encounter more individuals on the southwest border than we have in the last 20 years.”
But now, according to Team Biden’s delusional and shameless gaslighting, it is all Trump’s fault.
Despite the obvious cause and effect between the Biden rhetoric and policies and the current migrant surge, according to the Daily Mail:
Biden officials claim Trump officials did not fully cooperate with his transition team, hindering their ability to get a realistic view of potential migration, and that Trump deconstructed the immigration and asylum system – which they then inherited.
Yet, former acting CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan told CNN that the Biden transition team was “specifically warned again and again and again,” by Team Trump, noting that they even modeled a projected increase in border crossings if Trump policies were withdrawn. These warnings clearly went unheeded.
Trump also entered the fray in a statement saying:
We proudly handed the Biden Administration the most secure border in history. All they had to do was keep this smooth-running system on autopilot.
Instead, in the span of just a few weeks, the Biden Administration has turned a national triumph into a national disaster. They are in way over their heads and taking on water fast.

The Biden gaslighting comes as the administration is reportedly considering even more radical and unprecedented proposals such as releasing illegal aliens into the U.S. without issuing a Notice to Appear (NTA), Fox News reported. This means illegal migrants will be released from U.S. custody without any court date.
To Team Biden, this isn’t a crisis. It is an opportunity and excuse to simply open the borders even further.
