ANALYSIS – In yet another blow to the deceptive narrative that the unarmed riot at the Capitol on January 6 was a ‘deadly insurrection,’ the D.C. medical examiner announced that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick suffered two strokes caused by a clot and died of natural causes the day after the riot at the U.S. Capitol Building. He did not die of any injuries sustained that day.
With this finding, we now know that the only person killed during this ‘deadly insurrection’ was an unarmed female rioter shot by the Capitol Police.
I had noted repeatedly that Sicknick’s cause of death was likely caused by a stroke based on comments from his family, and that it was odd that the autopsy took months to complete, yet the major media continued to imply he was killed by rioters.
As soon as Sicknick died the New York Times quickly reported that he was struck by a fire extinguisher, according to law enforcement officials. Later when that story proved false, two men were accused of spraying Sicknick with a chemical irritant, likely bear spray., in an attempt to continue the false narrative that the officer died at the hands of ‘deadly insurrectionists.’
But the examiner, Francisco J. Diaz, told the Washington Post on Monday that the autopsy found no evidence that Sicknick suffered an allergic reaction to chemical irritants. Diaz said that “all that transpired” during the events of January 6 “played a role in his condition.”
Due to privacy laws Diaz could not comment on whether Sicknick had any preexisting medical conditions that may have contributed to his death. The Washington Post noted that his ruling “likely will make it difficult for prosecutors to pursue homicide charges in the officer’s death.”
In a statement the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) said:
The USCP accepts the findings from the Office of the Medical Examiner, but this does not change the fact Officer Brian Sicknick died in the Line of Duty, courageously defending Congress and the Capitol. The Department continues to mourn the loss of our beloved colleague.
While Sicknick was a hero who was violently attacked, this latest news has fully debunked the ‘deadly insurrection’ narrative, as the only person directly killed during the Capitol riot was Ashli Babitt, an unarmed female veteran shot by Capitol Police. The officer involved was cleared in the shooting, though many believe the officer may have overreacted.
The other three reported deaths during the riot were all civilians who, according to USA Today, either died of natural causes, or in one case, of a drug overdose. None of the three were reported as being inside the Capitol when they died, but were simply somewhere in the crowd outside.

I saw the video of Ashli Babbit getting shot. In the video the Capitol Officer took careful aim from perhaps ten to fifteen feet away and then shot this unarmed woman. In this case it was definitely an over reaction by the officer and should have required legal action against the officer in question. This is a whitewash of a murder, period.

Like many of you out there, I’ve read that the “unarmed female rioter” (Ashli Babbitt) was NOT shot by a Capitol Police Officer, but by a never identified member of one of the congress-persons personal / private security teams. I.E. – She wasn’t shot by a cop, she was shot by private armed security working for one of the congress critters who were present that day. Since even having private armed security could be very bad optics for a senator or representative who is busily engaged in trying to disarm all law abiding Americans and so forth, we never got the details on exactly WHO shot that poor woman. Do you honestly believe that an openly hostile US corporate media would try to PROTECT a police officer these days? Based on recent US media reporting in general, I’d find it far easier to believe that US corporate media would be first in line to play judge & jury and convict a cop in the court of public opinion, and to hell with any contrary facts or the rule of law.
Anyway, time passes and we’re seeing more & more articles going with the ASSUMPTION that it was a Capital Police Officer who must have shot that unarmed woman, when the simple truth is – outside of the very few people who were there that day and who saw everything with their own two eyes – NOBODY KNOWS. And those few who DO know are not allowed to speak under the full penalty of law. (Another detail to note is the amazing lack of leaks by people who were there that day, when so much of the reporting from Washington DC is largely comprised of nothing but never ending leaks from insiders speaking under the condition of anonymity.)

It was just announced that the Justice Department is charging another one hundred plus persons who participated in the Capital riot, that will bring the total charged to over five hundred. Can someone find the number of persons charged for participating in the five hundred plus violent riots in cities across America in 2020? Did anyone see billboards put up by the FBI soliciting information on, or posting pictures of, persons they were looking to identify? At last report the FBI had received over 200,000 tips on their tipline helping to identify those in the Capital building, how many tips did they solicit or receive helping to identify the activists or looters involved in the riots of 2020?
BLM protestors stormed the Oklahoma Capital on April 21, 2021 during a legislative session forcing the statehouse into lock down and pausing the session. How many were charged for that ‘insurrection’ and why have so many news organizations ignored it? Yahoo posted the story, maybe two paragraphs describing the event while approximately fifteen paragraphs were dedicated to the supposed ‘why’ of the attack.
The attack on Jan. 6 was abhorrent, those who participated in violence or looting should be charged accordingly. But–those charges should not be any more or less severe than charges for similar actions by others in 2020. Media is only reporting on the most severe charges, ignoring that the majority are for misdemeanor trespass. That fact, like their constant claims that Sicknick died from a physical attack on Jan. 6, is to create a vision in the minds of their viewers that ALL who invaded the Capital were violent, a further effort by them to taint American’s perception of Trump supporters.
But yet they are still gonna charge them!!
