Biden’s Leftist Pentagon Strikes Again – President Biden’s highly politicized Pentagon is not only waging war on anything Trump or MAGA, and purging conservatives from the military, it is persecuting anyone who criticizes the growing neo-Marxist influence at the Defense Department (DoD). Less than a week after 120 retired generals and Admirals denounced the growing threat of Marxism to America’s institutions, including the military, a Space Force commander was fired for voicing similar concerns.
Fox Business News reported that Lt Col. Matthew Lohmeier, commander of 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base Colorado, was relieved from his post Friday by Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, the head of Space Operations Command. Whiting used the standard military excuse that he had ‘lost confidence’ in Lohmeier’s ability to lead, simply because Lohmeier stated the obvious.
Appearing on the podcast “Information Operation” last week to publicize his new book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military,” Lohmeier criticized Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s highly politicized diversity and inclusion “agenda,” stating:
I don’t demonize the man, but I want to make it clear to both him and every service member this agenda — it will divide us. It will not unify us.
The commander added factually, the same things I have been emphasizing since Austin began Biden’s ideological indoctrination at DoD. Namely that:
The diversity, inclusion and equity industry and the trainings we are receiving in the military … is rooted in critical race theory, which is rooted in Marxism.
A Space Force spokesperson said the politicized persecution didn’t end there stating that “Lt. Gen. Whiting has initiated a Command Directed Investigation on whether these comments constituted prohibited partisan political activity.”
This appears absolutely out of line since nothing Lohmeier said appears partisan. Service members are prohibited from engaging in “partisan political activity” but are allowed to express their personal opinions on matters when not in uniform. And denouncing the demonstrably Marxist underpinnings of current DoD initiatives should be permissible.
In fact, what Lt Col Lohmeier is doing should be what the entire Pentagon leadership should be doing. In comments he made to Military.com, the Air Force Academy graduate said:
My intent never has been to engage in partisan politics. I have written a book about a particular political ideology (Marxism) in the hope that our Defense Department might return to being politically nonpartisan in the future as it has honorably done throughout history.
Lohmeier told the Information Operation podcast that the young service members are inundated by a “hyperpoliticized work environment where diversity and inclusion initiatives are being pushed constantly.” Lohmeier added that conservatives in the military who are willing to voice their opinions are painted as “extremists.”
The Space Force commander also advised any new service member, from enlisted to officer, to reject critical race theory being taught in the ranks, because it too is a form of extremism by the definitions outlined in DoD Instruction 1325.06, “Handling Dissident and Protest Activities Among Members of the Armed Forces.”
The neo-Marxist ideological threat to our nation’s military is real. And so is the Pentagon’s new leftist McCarthyism being used to coerce acceptance. ADN
