BREAKING NEWS – According to Reuters, the White House is about to launch a new effort to evacuate Afghan special immigrant visa (SIV) applicants. Administration officials are expected to speak about it publicly later today.

In a Reuters tweet, it reported that “Two U.S. sources tell Reuters that the Biden administration is expected later today to announce the start of ‘Operation Allied Refuge’ to evacuate Afghan SIV applicants. Sources say it will make use of civilian chartered aircraft.”

An earlier Reuters tweet noted that “Flights to evacuate Afghan immigration visa applicants to the United States will begin in the last week of July,” according to a senior administration official.

Meanwhile, the U.S. military has completed “more than 95% of the entire withdrawal process” in Afghanistan, the U.S. Central Command officials said in a statement Tuesday.

…the U.S. has officially handed over seven facilities to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

The withdrawal process continues; U.S. Central Command estimates that we have completed more than 95% of the entire withdrawal process. ADN

I wonder how they will protect these planes.
If we did not take out the homes of our enemies, we would not have won World War II.
I suggest that we carpet bomb the villages that harbor the Taliban. It is better to be dead than to live under these savage vermin, so we simply kill them all, as we did in World War II, and trust God to sort them out. No one lives forever in this world, and what sane person would want to.
Nukes would be more efficient. We could invite China, Russia, and even North Korea to reduce their nuclear stock pile by reducing the centuries long hell hole of Afghanistan to melted ruins. If a little fallout made it to Iran, it would give them chance to practice in a small way, what they will be facing, in a big way, if they try to destroy Israel.
