FOR YOUR EYES ONLY – American Defense News (ADN) – in collaboration with the Center for American Defense Studies (CADS) – provides our readers the PDB:

Not the President’s Daily Brief, but almost as good – Paul’s Daily Briefing.

Today’s PDB includes a variety of critical issues such as – DoD really has no idea who it’s hired to do private security, report finds. U.S. military warns China is building more nuclear missile silos. Lawmaker calls for new US maritime strategy with Pacific focus.

Key Afghan city in danger of falling to the Taliban.

As vaccine push increases, DoD will start asking troops if they got the shot

Army approves Christian soldier’s request to wear long hair for religious reasons.

NATO fighter planes intercept Russian aircraft over Baltic Sea.

Fully fund the Guam Defense System.

And MORE.

TODAY’S PDB:

Pentagon Watch

As vaccine push increases, DoD will start asking troops if they got the shot. The Defense Department is requiring all uniformed and civilian personnel to attest to whether they have received the vaccine against COVID-19, as part of the government’s effort to kick-start vaccinations.

Army approves Christian soldier’s request to wear long hair for religious reasons. Sgt. Jacob DiPietro, a cargo specialist with the Florida Army Reserve’s 489th Transportation Company (Seaport Operations), was approved for a religious exemption to the Army hair standards this week.

DoD really has no idea who it’s hired to do private security, report finds. The Defense Department doesn’t know how many private security contractors it has.

Defense Budget

Defense top-line ‘will probably go up.’ Key Dems see GOP boost as path to a deal. Senate Armed Services Chairman Jack Reed says the defense top-line “will probably go up” to win Republican support on the path to a budget deal for fiscal 2022 ― and some other key Democrats on defense matters grudgingly say the same.

China Threat

U.S. military warns China is building more nuclear missile silos. The underground missile silo field in the Xinjiang region is the second one reported this summer.

Fully fund the Guam Defense System. The Biden administration talks tough when it comes to competing with China and taking the necessary steps to reinforce America’s defense posture in the Indo-Pacific.

Lawmaker calls for new US maritime strategy with Pacific focus. To counter threats from China, a top U.S. lawmaker Friday called on the U.S. Navy to develop a new maritime strategy that would rebalance how it deploys and strategically scattered persistent deterrent force in an arc throughout the Indo-Pacific region.

Russia Threat

NATO fighter planes intercept Russian aircraft over Baltic Sea. NATO tracked and intercepted four Russian planes, traveling without flight plans or transponder codes, over the Baltic Sea, the bloc announced on Friday.

Heads up, US Navy: Russia’s stealth submarine force is growing fast. The Russian Navy‘s submarine force reached another milestone on Friday, as the Sevmash Shipyard in Severodvinsk in Russia’s northwest announced that it has floated out the latest advanced Project 885M (Yasen-M) nuclear-powered submarine Krasnoyarsk.

Iran Threat

US blames Iran for drone attack on Israeli-linked tanker. The U.S. joined the U.K. and Israel Sunday in blaming Iran for a fatal drone strike last week on an Israeli-linked tanker near the coast of Oman in the Arabian Sea, and the U.S. said it would work with allies to develop a response to the incident.

Iran’s gift to President Biden. A new demand opens the door to a new nuclear deal.

Afghanistan

Key Afghan city in danger of falling to the Taliban. Government reinforcements arrived Saturday in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand Province, but people were fleeing their homes and a hospital in the city had been bombed.

As fears grip Afghanistan, hundreds of thousands flee. With the Taliban sweeping across much of the country, at least 30,000 Afghans are leaving each week. Many more have been displaced within Afghanistan’s borders.

Britain

British military launches its own Space Command with official opening. Britain established its Space Command on Friday in a ceremonial opening, with responsibilities split between three specific groups to form a joint space command, Britain’s Ministry of Defense announced on Friday.

If you think of it…………History in all the wars to defeat us (a Capitalist Free Society) has always been attacked by Socialist, Communist, Marxist form of social control.. They are evil and orchestrated by the devil. Does any of this sound familiar? I don’t even go to church for crying out loud. I just know evil is within our midst. We have to fight back and really hard. Why is it everyone wants to live the American Dream and come here? It’s called freedom the land of opportunity to better themselves. Escape oppression, we need to trade our Woke crowd for the Cuban protesters, they know what they want and it sure isn’t Communism. The woke morons will find out for-themselves what Communism rule is all about.

So Russia and China re building weapon systems at high speed, but not to worry the Biden Socialist Regime is on it. So far we have designed the first ever Pilot Uniform for Pregnant Women. Thank God for the Democrats/Leftists/Liberals/Socialists, where would we be without them leading us through these times of trouble?
