On Tuesday, there were unconfirmed reports of Russian air strikes hitting targets in the NATO country of Poland, with many fatalities noted in the reports. The move comes more than half a year after the start of the Russian aggression against Ukraine. The strikes were immediately responded to by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, calling a meeting of the Committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defense Affairs.

According to Polish media, two stray Russian rockets landed in Polish territory killing two people. The rockets reportedly landed in the Polish town of Przewodów, near the border with Ukraine. These reports have not yet been independently confirmed by ABC News.
